William Rekert and Corinio Z won last year's Al Shira’aa British 5 Year Old Championship title - this year the pair continued their reign of dominance with a win in the SEIB 6 Year Old Championship for the Big Star Trophy.

The first of the finals at the Al Shira’aa British Young Horse Championships took place today at the All England Jumping Course, Hickstead.

A number of leading showjumpers will return to Hickstead next week for the Al Shira’aa British Young Horse Championships (13-16 August).
