Press accreditation is required to attend the I.C.E Horseboxes All England Dressage Festival (9-12 May), The Al Shira'aa Hickstead Derby Meeting (20-23 June), and The Agria Royal International Horse Show (24-28 July).
Passes will not be required for the Hurstpierpoint College National Schools Jumping Championships or the All England September Tour, but we would be grateful if you could email our Press Officer Victoria Goff if you would like to attend.

Update for 2024:
* We have added Online influencers to the accreditation form - to be considered for press accreditation, please outline your current follower numbers and your planned coverage.
* Content creators: Please note that content creators who are working for riders/commercial clients will be eligible for a fee of £300 per person per show in order to gain press access. You will receive a daily lunch voucher, full access to the press office and press conferences, high speed internet access and an official programme.
* The fee ONLY applies to content creators - all other members of the press will receive accreditation as normal.
Terms and conditions
Journalists, photographers and influencers
- Press accreditation is open to working members of the press only.
- Members of the press are advised to have their own public liability insurance.
- If your application is approved, you will be sent passes by email. If you have not received your passes within two weeks of the show, please email press@hickstead.co.uk to check we have received your application form.
- You will receive electronic passes by email, including an access ticket and a parking pass. These will only work for the first day of attendance, so on arrival you should head to the press office to sign in and collect passes.
- Tea and coffee will be provided in the press room, while lunch vouchers will be available for accredited media for use in the Polo Clubhouse or other mobile catering units (vouchers to be collected each day in the press office).
- Press viewing seats for working journalists only are reserved in the Members’ Grandstand. We cannot allow family, friends, children or dogs in any of the media areas.
- Please send us any press cuttings, web links or PDF cuttings from the season to press@hickstead.co.uk
- Photographers must not canvas riders, owners or the general public in order to sell photographs taken at the show.
- Accredited media should be supplying images for editorial purposes only, and those uploading entire albums of Hickstead images online and making them available to the public – including tagging riders on Facebook, etc - will have their accreditation revoked.
- Accreditation does not automatically ensure that a photographer will be admitted to work in the International Arena. Only those given an official photographer’s bib will be allowed into the main ring (£5 cash deposit required). All photographers working in the International Arena must be smartly dressed at all times.
- No filming is allowed anywhere in the International Arena. Film crews who wish to film the outer rings must report to the press office to sign in. Interviews must be set up via the press office staff.
- A daily round up will be sent out each evening of the shows, and results from all showjumping and showing classes will be posted on the Hickstead website.
- Accreditation letters are non-transferable.
Content creators
- No access to competition arenas during competitions.
- No filming moving imagery from within competition arenas at any point.
- For classes that are covered by livestreaming, creators are restricted to publishing 30 seconds of content for social media. The filming and publishing of complete rounds or tests is not permitted unless they have been purchased from the streaming provider, and the footage hosts the provider's logo.
- Content creators are not permitted to promote their business or source new customers while attending an event.
- Content creators may only photograph/film those riders listed on your accreditation application. Failure to follow these guidelines will void your application and your accreditation will be removed leaving you unable to fulfil your client obligations at the event.
- For filming course walks, you must apply for access on a per class basis, and be endorsed by your client.
- If your application is successful and you have paid the £300 per person fee, you will be issued with a content creators press bib – this is for ID purposes and must be always worn while competitions are in progress. The bib does not afford access within competition arenas.
Please note that all sections must be correctly filled in or the form will not submit. You will receive a confirmation message once the form has been sent.
